missdianeI've had to go back to putting the KT Loop on my shoulder so I can sleep on that side. The arthritis has been flaring in both knees, one enough that I needed to tape it for stability (which people asked if I was hurt at work since I wore a dress that day and you could see the strips below my knee...I'm always hurt. bleh)
I've had what is likely sinusitis for a good week. If I cough, the side of my head and behind my eye has a hit of pain. Sometimes it's a steady headache. I've been doing the neti pot for that which is sort of helping some. Even though I run air cleaners because the heat in my apartment clearly kicks out all kinds of dust, I get a cough and last night it woke me up. I also now get a headache when I bend over to give the kitties food and stuff. Lovely.
And the day before yesterday, sciatica started in and last night I couldn't get comfortable so aside from the usual OTC pain pills, I put an ice pack on so I could get a bit of sleep. I'm not able to walk well so this morning I tossed in the towel and took a rare sick day off. I hadn't taken one in a couple of months.
It doesn't help with the weather ping-ponging. I like Autumn but boy this has been rough.

Date: 2022-12-02 08:53 pm (UTC)I think a lot of people have been having some kind of sinus/respiratory thing lately. I've had a worse-than-usual cough and a sinus headache for a month now. Heat pump had its regular maintenance and new filter, air ducts vacuumed. Cat keeps sneezing too, although the vet says it isn't anything to worry about.
