In case anyone wants to relive their past

missdianeI have a whole movie-like idea for the 1970s roleplay for the channel, just need to film it, hopefully tomorrow when Emily goes to visit her mother. It'll be titled something like "1970s woman needs a recipe for the PTA potluck"
The short description is her friend comes by to try to help my character think of an idea for the PTA potluck that she's been roped into joining by her overbearing mother (I even have a whole concept that my character's sister ran away with a truck driver and left her kid behind for me and our mother to take care of). I purchased a few of those hideous Better Homes and Gardens recipe cards to use as a prop. The woman on Etsy was selling random packages of 10 and I messaged her to make sure to pick ones that look and sound awful. She did an excellent job and I'll bet she had a lot of fun picking them out for me.
The end of the video will have me making the classic midwestern recipe with cottage cheese, crushed pineapple, jello and cool whip. I'll film that on Monday since I'm taking the leftovers to work to see who wants to be brave to try it. Personally I have an odd affection for the stuff.
I have a muumuu, a blonde wig (which I got for $20 and we discover I do NOT look good as a blonde LOL), blue eye shadow that Emily found in one of her ColourPop palates and turquoise earrings for the look.
If anyone has any requests for any other totally 70s cliches to plug in there, let me know!
