Jan. 22nd, 2016 05:11 amWhen I'm watching the weather reports, it always boggles my mind that they're suddenly selling out of tons and tons of shovels. Now salt I can see because it gets used up and car scrapers can be lost easily enough but shovels? It makes me wonder if people throw them away at the end of the season or something.
That and why do people always wait until right before a storm to buy one and seem surprised when they're sold out? Do they really believe that Global Warming has suddenly been turned to 11 and it's not going to snow at all in winter? I don't get people.
But anyway - stay safe out there, folks. Make sure you have your French toast supplies and perhaps the makings for a hot toddy. Priorities, y'know. ;)
