Needed a few moments away from frantically trying to get things in and out of the USDA system we use before Sunday's very likely shutdown.

This part also made me WTF?

Making a few small changes on how you use water can easily save you 5% on your hot water use. Start in the morning by shortening your showers by a minute or two, and don't let the hot water run when you shave or brush your teeth. When doing laundry, wash your clothes in cold water. In the kitchen, run the water only when rinsing the dishes.

I don't have laundry in my apartment but uh...who the hell brushes their teeth with HOT water?

Furry little visitor

A recently retired faculty member came by since she had business with Elaine. I am dubious about how much of a service dog little Ashley is with as energetic and wandering she is but we didn't care since she was a mood booster for sure



It was also nice to put a face to the name with a faculty member I'd been assisting for many years. I deal with nearly 100 of them and have met only a tiny handful.
