ASMR is one of those things that some people can't stand and I get it. I am grossed out by the "mouth sounds" ones in particular. But to sleep, in order to cover up little random noises that I don't like such as a ticking clock or when my downstairs neighbor is snoring so loud that I can hear it upstairs, things like hair curling sounds or some roleplay ones are just the thing to doze off to.
Then I stumbled on a channel that might appeal to some of you for a different reason - nostalgia! A woman makes ones with roleplays such as retro Avon products, fabric stores, post office. This one of a retro hotel is nice, the props are just great and her voice is quiet and soothing too:
