Oct. 10th, 2023 06:56 pmI took a chance and paid a little over $22 (on sale) for a pan of three cheese vegan lasagna in my FreshDirect order last week by the brand Sunday Supper. It sounds expensive but it's a hefty 40 ounce box. It's 330 calories for 5 portions but I portioned it more easily into 4 and 410ish calories is a decent but not huge dinner.
I baked it up today which took longer than the 80 minutes but my place is all cozy warm now. And it is LEGIT
For one, if you hadn't told me it was vegan, I really wouldn't know. The texture - which vegan cheese typically doesn't melt well - was spot on and the flavor was amazing. It's out of stock but I emailed FreshDirect and asked if they'd also consider carrying some of their other products since I'd like to try them. I'm betting the Italian sausage lasagna is incredible.
Looking forward to leftovers. I think I'll have it for lunch tomorrow with a small side salad to offset the richness a bit.
