[Error: unknown template qotd]There are so many but one that comes to mind is Mom's crepe recipe. The crepe itself is the standard recipe but her filling is different.

She mixes cream cheese with powdered sugar, a bit of milk to smooth it out and a lot of nutmeg. It's so good. That goes inside the crepe and is rolled up. Then on top, sour cream and either strawberry preserves (or fresh strawberries) or drizzled chocolate syrup.

I'd have to opt out of the nutmeg - it's not a favorite of mine. Could I replace it with cinnamon?

Probably, something to give it a spicy flair. You know what else might be fun? Some ground cardamom and orange! Chai crepes..mmmmmmm
