I cry, but there's the poisonous sort that comes with depression and the good sort. Today was the good sort. The fate of the one character made me sniffly.
That was Ari's first movie, and can I say, she behaved quite well through it... though I get the feeling her father and I were more into it than she was. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I cried through 80% of it, but that's probably because I cry at the drop of a hat. It's up there amid all of my Pixar favorites, though Wall-E still has the number one spot in my heart.
Did you get the Pan preview for yours? Truth be told, I'm usually not a big Peter Pan person, but I'm kind of interested.
Amusingly, I haven't seen ANY version of Peter Pan since Hook, so that makes it a bit fresher for me. Plus I love Garret Hedlund (and am still lamenting the demise of Tron 3), so I'm excited about seeing him in the movie.
We made the uninformed mistake of going to our local Cinemark on a Tuesday, which is apparently discount day. Every ticket is $5. Our theater was PACKED with kids, though it was surprisingly quiet throughout the movie. Ari got a little finicky at some parts, and spent most of the movie sitting on my lap, but all in all, I was impressed.
Definitely. Might have to keep that in mind for Xmas or something. That movie just equals <3

Date: 2015-07-03 10:18 pm (UTC)I even learned a little about myself and my own feelings watching it. I would watch it again, and I don't often say that.

Date: 2015-07-04 12:30 am (UTC)Good going Ari! We did have a few kidlets in our theater and one of them got a little overwhelmed but nothing unexpected.
I've not seen Wall-E. I'll have to get around to watching that one day :)
